Claire loves to bake! Especially pies, and when she does, she turns unfailingly to Fannie Flagg's Original Whistle Stop Cafe Cookbook. This book is her go-to at Thanksgiving for the pecan pie and pumpkin pie recipes and in the summertime? Lemon chess pie, of course!

Yes, I love a cookie and lots of other sweets. I like making the best with what we have on hand. My go-to cookbook is

The Smitten Kitchen

Cookbook by Deb Perelman—I love her accessible approach to everything she does (+ butter!). Very popular with the entire staff for all the delicious treats she leaves in the breakroom, Jenni has perfected a multitude of baked goods. Her goto cookbook for treats to share is Dessert Person by Claire Saffitz. Her favorite recipe from the book is the babkallah (a babka and challah hybrid) and her goal is to someday make the croquembouche, one of the hardest recipes in Dessert Person. In the winter months she spends her days off trying out different Polish stews and breads from Polska by Zuza Zak.

Ronnie loves to bake anything and everything! Right now she is all about bread, and mastering the perfect soft pretzel. Her go-to bread book is the Bread Bible and her favorite general cookbook is the Moosewood Cookbook.

I love baking a little bit of everything! My favorites include pastries and cheesecakes since my brothers demand Cherry Delight constantly. A baking book I'd recommend is Rage Baking! It's a great cookbook for those who want amazing recipes and it teaches you how to harness the tranquility that baking can inspire.

If you've never tried a Cardamom Bun, your truly missing out on one of life's best desserts! Being Danish and growing up in the Norwegian Town of Poulsbo: I've had many of these delicious treats and love making them! I especially enjoy making Pfefferneuse every year. For more tasty morsels, try Modern Scandinavian Baking by Daytona Strong. –Hanna R.
