As I write this, the blackberries are ready for picking. I shared a patch of berries this morning with a mama deer and her baby that were also enjoying the berries just as much as I was. The nettlesome yet incredibly yummy (high in beneficial vitamins and minerals, fiber, and antioxidants) blackberry gives us that sweet smell that really lets us know autumn is around the corner. That also means the apples and pumpkins will be following close behind. And we all know what that means…baking! You can see on pages 31-32 that our employees are excited to get back to baking and we are sure you are as well.
