we missed you!
We don’t need to say this Summer didn’t go how anyone imagined. It saddened us that we didn’t get to see your faces out enjoying our programs and facilities, but our hopes are Fall will tell a different story. If you haven’t yet checked out our Fall Program Guide, it can be found on our website at BvilleParks.org/Fall2020. There are still plenty of fantastic programs you and your family can register for. Substantial planning has gone into the logistics of running each program our Fall 2020 guide as safely as possible; however, if at any point we feel your safety is compromised, that program will be canceled. If you are not ready for you or your little ones to return to in-person programming, not to worry we completely understand. This Program Guide is also packed with all sorts of virtual programming, just look for the programs marked with an icon of a house. If you have any questions at all feel free to let us know; we can’t wait to see all your faces back here again!
WOOD ST. FITNESS – FITNESS CLASSES ARE BACK! We are excited to announce fitness classes are back! Be sure to check out our full lineup of Fall fitness classes (page 13 of our brochure). If you are not comfortable attending classes in person yet, we have an exciting new option, our Virtual Fitness Class Pass. This pass will give you access to a live stream via Zoom of at least one fitness class per day.
PROGRAMMING AT FISCHER FARM This Fall Fischer Farm will host programming for those of all ages. Be sure to check out pages 15-22 of our Fall Program Guide for our full lineup of programs. For your young ones we have our Preschool Family Campfire with Mrs. B; here they will roast marshmallows, make s’mores and sing songs around a warm campfire. If your little ones are fascinated with nature as much as we are, we have a new program - All About Fall. Here your little ones will learn why the leaves change, the harvest, and do tons of crafts and activities you can only do this time of year. For our adults we have our Paint and Sip Nights continuing into the Fall. Pour a glass and un»wine»d for the night. Learn to paint in a historic setting from only the best. Our class will have you leaving with a painting that is sure to fit the mood of Fischer Farm. Come on out for a date, an evening to yourself, or a gathering with old friends! This class will supply you with all your artistic needs, but you must bring your own wine. Bottles are limited to no more than 750mL and you may not leave with an opened bottle. Email PDeckert@BvilleParks.org for details.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING There are so many new and exciting programs happening for youth this fall. From Beginning Pottery where your little ones will learn pottery skills like coiling and pinching to Cookies and Canvases where they will enjoy an afternoon of painting and cookies; our fall book is packed with all sorts of youth fine arts programming. Of course, if fine arts aren’t for your little ones, we’re sure we have something in our Program Guide that is – we even have model rocket building!
YOUNG AT HEART PROGRAMMING Safety is always a priority for us but even more so with our Young at Heart. Our Young at Heart programs are back this Fall with Lunch Bunch, trips, and cards; however, things will look a little different to help create a safe environment for all. Maxs will be much lower, reservations will be required for cards, masks will be required, and additional safety measures will be taken. Visit Page 57 of our Program Guide for all the exciting offerings we have planned for our Young at Heart this Fall. Contact Trent Grossman at 630.766.7015 ext. 113 with questions or if you do not have the ability to access our Program Guide online.
