Dear Friends, As I look back over the first 6 months of 2018, I feel tremendous love for our town of Santa Barbara. We began the year with unparalleled setbacks. The Thomas Fire and resultant debris flows affected our entire community on a level never experienced before. For us at Village Properties, it was deeply personal. We responded to our personal and community losses by doing what we do best. Giving back to our local Santa Barbara community. Locally owned and operated, Village Properties has always considered giving back to our local community of paramount importance. This year has been no different. In February, Village Properties was a proud sponsor of the One805 Kick Ash Bash, a first-of-its-kind fundraiser event for our local first responders and the victims of the mudflow. In the following months we have sponsored many community events from the Heart Association to the Chamber of Com-


merce and the Natural History Museum Gala. And, as always, we continuously support our communities’ children and teachers through the Teacher’s Fund. Our commitment to our home remains stronger than ever. We are extremely thankful to see that our local real estate market has rebounded, despite the earlier setbacks. We have seen resilience and continued steady activity in home sales. Buyer confidence in Santa Barbara real estate remains strong.
