Dear Friends, I am pleased to bring you the Real Estate Market Report for November, keeping you in the know and up to date on the latest activity and trends in the communities we serve in South Santa Barbara County and Santa Ynez Valley. As we close out 2018 and enter into the holiday season we have much to celebrate. We live in an area where Real Estate sales remain strong, home values continue to appreciate, and Santa Barbara was once again ranked #1 for the best weather in the country for 2018, by The U.S. News & World Report. We are truly thankful to call Santa Barbara our home, and are delighted to have helped many people make it their home this year. This time of year is all about family, and we love our Village family. We are committed to making sure that every one of our agents has excellent support from our management team, and the very best training and tools available, to better serve our clients through the process of buying and selling homes. We also love to have fun, and this year we celebrated the season with a Holiday party at the Moxi Museum where we not only had a delicious roof-top dinner catered by Creative Services Catering, but we got to play on all the fun activities and dance the night away.
At Village Properties we are committed to our local community and throughout 2018 we have had the privilege of sponsoring over 35 local non-profits, bringing much needed support to multiple needs in our community. Our agents participated in #givingtuesday, the global day of giving on November 27th, and donated over $6000 to Teacher’s Fund, the non-profit founded by Village Properties in 2002. This year alone we have donated $98,000 to local teachers, helping them purchase much needed supplies and materials needed for their classrooms.
