EDITORIAL When I launched Muscle Manual Magazine in April 2015, I had a very specific vision and purpose for this venture – to educate people about health and fitness. I believe that if everyone has some basic knowledge about nutrition, living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and managing health conditions and diseases better through diet, we can save millions of lives every year. Admittedly, I was 19 years old when I launched the first issue of Muscle Manual, and was fairly inexperienced in running a magazine and spreading awareness and education about issues as important as health. I was already a certified nutritionist and advanced trainer, and the content of the magazine was great, but understanding my audience and marketing to them was the missing link. Yet, I had the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the industry from the very beginning. I trained with Steve Cook, traded war stories with Ronnie Coleman, worked with Layne Norton, dined with Olympian athletes and celebrity trainers – and I wasn’t about to let everyone down. So to address the 8 month long hiatus that Muscle Manual has seen, I spent this time away from work - exploring the world, learning to connect with people on a deeper level, embracing the required change in our perception of what health and fitness really means, while understanding millennials and where our future generations are headed so that I can use Muscle Manual to reach out to them, and do my part to have a positive influence. Needless to say, Muscle Manual is back bigger than ever, with a new website, new weekly content, we’re going to be working closely and collaborating with fitness influencers to make sure that we spread the right message through the right people while providing stellar content.
