South Dakota Mission Trip June 18-25, 2022 Preparation List 1. Pray: Solicit prayers from your church. Ask at least 5 people to pray for you daily. 2. Devotions: Each day, we will gather for devotions. Some team members will be assigned a day in this brief time of worship. So, those assigned to lead a devotion should prepare a two-to-threeminute inspirational reading or thought with a related short scripture reading. 3. Photo ID or Driver’s License: Please make sure your Driver’s License does not expire while you are in South Dakota. 4. Spending Money: You will be responsible for any meals in route to and from South Dakota. While supporting the ministry of Nunca Waste is the utmost priority, we will take time to do some sightseeing and the cost of any of these activities will be your responsibility. 5. Overnight Bag: Pack your carryon bag to utilize in the case of an emergency. Sometimes bags are lost or late in arriving. So, pack your essentials, like prescription medicines and a change of clothes, in the bag complying with all airline regulations. If you have questions regarding what is allowed, consult the airline website and/or the TSA website. 6. Baggage: Any checked luggage must weigh less than 50 pounds. For more info on luggage requirement visit the Airlines Website or ask JCBA. Your payment includes the one bag. The second checked bag will be your responsibility. 7. Luggage Tags: Place name tag on each piece of luggage/carryon bag/purse and attach an identifying marker (ribbon, pipe cleaner, etc.) to help identify your luggage quickly. 8. Copies of Important Documents: Make 3 copies of your driver’s license, health insurance card and travel insurance card (We will provide this to you.) Place one in luggage, one in “carry on” bag, and leave one at home. 9. Credit Cards: To be prepared in the case of an emergency, call your credit card company to inform them of the dates of your travel to South Dakota. 10. Meals: Each person is responsible for all meals eaten outside the camp. Monday through Thursday, we will eat meals at the camp. There is a possibility of eating lunch and dinner off site on Friday. So, participants should have money to cover at least 8 meals which will be in route, on return, as well as on Friday.

Bible, notebook, and pen. Also, any material to use when you lead the morning devotion, such as My Utmost For His Highest Book, another devotional book, or your own plan. Driver’s License/Credit Card(s)/Money/Ticket Information. Prescription Medications and Over the Counter Drugs (all in original bottles in carryon bag), Sunscreen, Mosquito Repellant, Lip Balm, Cap/Visor, Sunglasses Toiletries. Shampoo, Shower Gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, razor, etc. (Remember: Carryon bags can contain only liquids in clear 3 oz. bottles.) Germ X antibacterial wipes and Germ X hand sanitizer. Hairbrush/comb and styling product. Extra contacts/glasses/contact solution Breakfast Bars/Protein Bars/Snacks. We will eat “school cafeteria” style at the camp. If you have special dietary needs, please consult with cooking team. Rain Poncho (Optional) Ziploc bags and a few Garbage bags. (It is wise to pack liquids in plastic bags to protect other items in your suitcase. Garbage bags are helpful for dirty or wet clothes.) Shower Shoes (Optional) Clothes. T-Shirts with short sleeves for camp. Socks Modest Sleepwear. Jeans/Long pants for church. Extra pair of comfortable walking and/or athletic shoes. Towels, washcloths, and sheets. (NOTE: Towels and Sheets are not provided.) Washing Powder for washing clothes. Please bring a small quantity that is enough to wash your clothes. Water bottle. Currently, Face Masks are required to fly.
