God designed people for community... Each of us has a desire “to belong” somewhere. Seeking community is often what brought many of us to Vineyard Church. It will be the relationships we build that keep us coming back. At Vineyard Church, we understand that the weekend worship celebrations are uplifting, a time to celebrate God, and an important part of our spiritual growth but they alone will not bring about life transformation. It is in Small Groups where life transformation occurs. Even Jesus did not do it alone... What was one of the first things He did when He started His ministry? Start a small group! Small Groups are where we do life together. We laugh, cry, learn from God’s Word, we pray, love, support, encourage, watch movies and eat popcorn, have fun, worship, and share life together. Through Small Groups we develop meaningful and vital relationships with others as we try to become a living example of the “body of Christ.”
Here’s how to get connected into a small group at Vineyard Church: 1. Find a group near you that fits your schedule. 2. Email or call that small group leader to find out more about the group and to get directions. 3. Know that no one small group is the best fit for every person. We encourage you to try out several different groups before you settle on one.
If you would like help finding a small group or are interested in starting one, I’d love to talk with you!
God bless, Roger Sodsod Small Group Pastor rsodsod@vineyardkcnorth.com 816.734.8100

MISSIONS In Mark 16 the Bible reads - “ And he (Jesus) told them, Go into all of the world and preach the Good News to everyone”. It is our goal to share the truth of the Bible and Jesus Christ as savior to a lost world. We are currently working in three countries: Ecuador, Mexico, and Ethiopia. We are pursing two additional countries for mission activities —Palestine/West Bank and Estonia. We conduct our mission work by partnering with Vineyard churches locally and in the specific country to start and support a Vineyard church planting movement in each of these countries. We have annual mission trips to each of the countries we are working in. If you are interested in helping with missions or going on a mission trip, please contact Tim Dykes at 816.734.8100 or tdykes@vineyardkcnorth.com.
