Traceability & certifications
RCS BLENDED
The Recycled Claim Standard verifies (the percentage of) recycled material and tracks it from the source to the final product. Products certified to the Recycled Claim Standard Blended (RCS Blended) contain between 5-94% certified recycled material.
GRS
Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard contain recycled material that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, facilities from the source to the final supplier have met social, environmental, and chemical requirements.
AWARE™
Aware™ uses a physical tracer (ceramic) to verify and trace recycled material. Items can be scanned to identify the presence of the tracer. Using blockchain technology the journey of the recycled material and the scanning data is recorded and made available to customers and end users.
OCS BLENDED
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product. It ensures that the integrity and traceability of organic content are maintained throughout the supply chain, providing transparency and credibility to the organic claims made on products.
