Last year we had to face a health and pandemic crisis that affected many of us not only in our professional but also in our personal lives. This year has brought additional difficulties in the form of the energy crisis and war conflicts. My perceptionis that history is repeating itself and we mustconstantly face new challenges, problems,and difficult situations. The solution lies in a realistic assessment of the situation, a creative and innovative approach and the preservation of common sense and an optimistic view of the future.
Pink is the colour of optimism, of hope. Pink is a nurturing, playful and nostalgic colour that takes us back to childhood and unbridled fun. If joy had a colour, it would be pink. Pink used in design reveals a willingness to embrace wonder and creativity, it can soften formal design and its influence can brighten dark, austere colours. The colour pink embodies all that is good in the world when guided by passion, kindness and understanding.
We have adopted this positive vibe of pink colour in Vinolok company, and we try to implement this approach in all production, technological, business and marketing processes. The growth of the rosé category shows no signs of slowing down and continued product innovation means that consumers are likely to seek out new styles of this wine as time goes on. The rosé category is also making significant inroads into premiumisation.
According to IWSR's analysis of the drinks market, sales of rosé wine grew by 118% between 2015 and 2020 and are expected to grow by almost 70% between 2020 and 2024. It can be said that rosé has become a firm part of the wine industry.
Driven by ongoing growth of rosé wine, as well as visual appeal in the glass and on social media,
the colour pink has spread its way across spirit categories. International spirits, intense flavours and indulgent dessert-like drinks are the latest beverage trends appealing to consumers.
Even tequila producers adopt the pink drink trend, using maturation in wine barrels that provides the spirit not only with colour, but with flavour too, according to IWSR report 2021.
Changing consumer appetites mean that brands need to be transparent about their ingredient provenance and production methods to show they are truly sustainably driven.
