The autumn leaves are falling once again, cooler days and changes to our pattern of routine perhaps.
12 members at the meeting where Gary reported on his attendance at the National meeting. Our branch is the 3rd smallest now.
Chairman Robin reported on the Rock & Hop event at Caroline Bay, Timaru that they attended. 1,000 vehicles varying ages and models. This was a fundraiser for Hospice.
Wednesday Run held on the 6th April was well attended with 20 people enjoying the hospitality of Kaye and Paul McNabb. Kaye shared her variety of crafts and achievements which are many. Paul shared his progress on the 1928 Model A they have been restoring studiously with attention to detail noticeable. A real credit to you both.
Heart & Soul Café was the destination for refreshments.
Wednesday Run – 1st May
The monthly run will be going to the Taieri to visit David Dickson who has a collection of vintage machinery etc. Meet at the Clubrooms at 1 p.m. or for the Milton members meet at Taylor Park to join the ones coming from the south. The cuppa will be at Wals where the ladies will be able to shop also.

I'm supporting the “Tranz Alpine Scooter Safari” 2024 raising funds for The Cancer Society. This is a Moped Scooter run that goes from McLean’s Island Christchurch over the Arthurs Pass to Hokitika on Sat 18th May 2024, a total of 250 Km.
