On New Year’s Eve a woman stood up in a pub and said it wastime to get ready for the celebrations. At the stroke of midnight she wanted every husband to be standing next to the one person who made life worth living.

SOME BE -ATTITUDES

Blessed are those who can laugh at themelves;

They will have endless fun.

Blessed are those who can tell a mountain from a mole hill; They will be spared a lot of trouble.

Blessed are those who can go to bed and fall asleep without looking for excuses; They will become wise.

Blessed are those who know when to shut up and listen: They will learn new things thereby.

Blessed are those who are intelligent enough not to take themselves too seriously: They will be appreciated by those around them.

Blessed are those who are attentive to the call of others, who are without thinking themselves indispensible; They will be sowers of joy.

Happy are you if you know how to take small things seriously and large thinks peacefully; You will far go in life.

Hapy are you if you can admire a smile and forget a frown; The path will be sunlit.

Happy are you if you can keep quiet and smile, even whem someone contradicts you, when someone treads on your toes:

The Gospel is beginning to penetrate your heart.

Blessed above all are you,if you can recognise the Lord in everyone you meet.

You have the true light and true wisdom.

Does anyone know where it is???

Or What has happened to it ???

The Honda Civic. You can get several varieties of Honda Civic depending on which territority you in habit, around the world, but the European three and fivedoor models are probadly the raciest of all. These aggressively styledcars, with their sharp, triangulate details, are a universe away from the cuddly Civics that once had principal appeal to smug retirees. The Perspex cover over the grille and front lights, the hatchback spilt by a manly tail spoiler, an engine start button, and the exposed metal –effect fuel filler all owe more to the the pit-lane rather than the crawler lane. Honda has even hidden the rear door handles of the five-door to make it more like a coupe. There are plenty of quiet, thrifty engines on offer, starting with a 1.4 litre i-VTEC petrol and including a 2-litre turbodiesel. The real flier, though is the201bhp 2-litre Type-R,with a specially-tuned Vehicle Stability Assist system to make cornering safe and exhilarating simultaneously. All the Euro Civics have electric windows, side curtain airbags and antilock brakes as standard kit, and a six-speed manual transmission is offered across the range. And who couldn’t love the secret compartment under the boot floor that can also be used to deepen the load bay? There’s a lot to like, and also a lot to be proud of.For these cars are built exclusively in Britain, at the

productive plant Honda opened on a disused Swindon airfield.

The company chose the site in 1985, building its first car there, an Accord, seven years later.Since then the Japanese

commitment to where its employees are respectfully referred to as ‘Associates’ has been laudable. Honda began building engines there in 1989, pressing bodies in 1995, opened a second assembly plant in 2001, started making its own plastic parts in 2004, and began a new diesel engine casting plant in 2009. Honda is now a bona fide British manufacturer with 70 per cent of its output exported to 60 countries. In light of Ford’s exit from the British carmaking.Rover’s sad demise, and the closure of the Vauxhall’s Lution car plant, that’s nothing short of heart- warning.

Two million British Hondas

Honda built its two millionth Honda in Britain on the 21 July 2008: a silver CR-V, it was. Among the Hondas made at Swindon are Accords, Civics,CR-Vs and from 2009,the little Jazz. It was a satisfying day,in 2001 when the first Civic Type-Rs were exported for sale in Japan, as was the moment in 2007 Swindon built it millionth Civic. The 1981 Triumph Acclaim was actually the secondgeneration Honda Civic/Ballade built under licence by British Leyland, making the Civic the first Japanese-designed car ever built in Britain.

Godliness

The First Civic in 1972 was Honda’s first family car with a water–cooled engine much to the company founder Soichiro Honda ‘s dismay,as

he always championed un popular air cooled engines. The Civic went on sale in 1973 in the US, its CVCC engine complied with the1973 Clean Air Act and was extremely economical in the face of the fuel crisis Its popularity made the US Honda’s biggest market by 1977.
