IMPORTANT NOTICE – CHANGE OF VENUE FOR VCC NATIONAL DAY – Daffodil Rally – 27 AUGUST The venue that you have been notified for this charity run on 27 th August has had to be changed owing to the Polar Plunge requiring the Karoro Domain area for the whole day instead of just the morning as they have in the past. Please ignore the instructions for our area as printed in the Beaded Wheels. The Greymouth Rodders and the Straycats are joining in with us. We will now gather from 12.30pm at the Greymouth Rodders Clubrooms at ANZAC Park, (by the netball courts) to leave for a run at 1.00pm which is the starting time as requested by our National body. We will drive through the Aorangi Reserve and back along the State Highway to ANZAC Park where we will arrange a display of the vehicles which will be open to the public. There will be a cost for each vehicle of $10 and we request you bring along a plate for a shared afternoon tea in the Clubrooms. The public will be asked for a gold coin donation and all money collected is to be donated to the Cancer Society. Note that all money raised is to remain on the West Coast.
PROPOSED MOTOR CYCLE GROUP Roger and Allan have not get-together with motor together. Again, to motor meeting can be arranged. together.

JULY CLUB RUN We had 35 members come along for lunch at Reefton. Another good day for Colin, unfortunately one vehicle had to turn back, but he appeared to be well organised. AUGUST CLUB RUN National Daffodil Day is to be our Club run this month. You will have read the changed details above. SNOW RUN Elaine & Pat Knowles, Bev & Butch Thompson, Nola & Alan Weir and June & Dave Campbell set off for the annual Snow Run at St Arnaud on 15th July. Unfortunately the Weirs had to turn back but the rest carried on and met up with Nelson and Marlborough folk. We organised the competition this year. Many thanks to Merv Burrell who helped Pat get some games together, this was great fun and what do you know, Marlborough won this year so it means they have to organise the games next year. The judges decisions were FINAL. No snow this year but a lot of fun.
