1
Place filigree on top of steel bench block. Use the flat end of 4oz Ball Pein Hammer to flatten filigree.
2
Turn filigree over and hammer back side to completely flatten the entire surface.
3
Apply cobalt patina to the leaf. Completely dry. Apply a verdigris patina and glaze mixture over the cobalt base. Once dry, use the tip of a metal awl to carefully enlarge the hole in the leaf.
4
Use the dark gray side of the Metal Reliefing Block to highlight the raised areas of the arte metal decorivet.
5
Use 1.5mm Hole Punch Pliers to add a hole through the small solid area of the filigree along the bottom curve. This hole will be used to suspend a charm from the pendant.
6
Use two Chain Nose Pliers to attach the leaf through the top openwork of filigree using a 7.25mm jump ring.
7
Use Chain Nose Pliers to gently bend the rivet points of the decorivet inward approximately 15 degrees.
8
Layer the decorivet over the leaf and filigree pendant. Insert the rivet points through the openwork on the sides of the filigree.
9
Use the tip of Chain Nose Pliers to bend the rivet points down along the back of filigree.
10
Crimp down on bent rivet points by placing Chain Nose Pliers around pendant and squeezing down over decorivet to secure.
