Ingredients 1 cup of cooked no salt added canned chickpeas 1 garlic clove 1/3 cup of tahini (sesame paste) 2 teaspoons of olive oil ½ teaspoon of salt Cayenne pepper (dash) Paprika (dash) Carrot sticks (for serving) Preparation Instructions: 1. In a blender add chickpeas (leave a couple aside for garnish), garlic clove and tahini. Add olive oil, leaving some aside for garnish, and add a pinch of salt if you need. If you are using salted chickpeas you will not need much salt. Add a little cayenne pepper and paprika or add whatever spices you like. 2. Start pulsing the blender, and then puree. The mixture will become thick and difficult to stir. Keep some water next to you and add a little bit at a time. Puree the hummus until nice and smooth.

3. Spread the hummus out on the bottom of the plate so there is a little border and a well in the middle. Drizzle olive oil over and sprinkle some paprika, add your chickpeas and carrot sticks for garnish.
