Water Supply
PERCENTAGE OF DISTRIBUTION OF WATER FROM RESERVOIRS
WATER DEMAND ANALYSIS
Water Supply Map
Water is collected from Inltration wells and is CHLORINATED before supplying to households.
Sewarage and Sanitation The city depends on septic tanks. Many of the houses use septic tanks that are inadequately designed and the partly treated efuent from these tanks are allowed to ow into the open drains. Unhygeinic dry latrines and open defecation is common in several areas. Open drains also carry waste water from kitchens and bathrooms. There is no sewerage network in the city. ISSUES : • Public toilets are provided mostly in market areas but open defecation can also be seen in some residential areas. • Disposal of waste water into Nagavalli river . • The grey water is released into agricultural lands and water

The storm water is being drained off through existing open drains since the city does not have a separate storm water drainage network.
1. The Gap of Drainage network is 56.43%. 2. Total Drain length needs to be laid out is 145.815 KM 3. The city does not have a separate storm water drainage network. 4. The present condition of the drains are not good and also insufď€ cient during rainy season. 5. Water logging remains a major area of concern of the public. 6. 40% of drains are clogged with solid waste and illegal encroachment.

DIFFERENT MONUMENTS AT THE HISTORICAL PRECINCT
ABOUT KAKORI Kakori is a nagar panchayat in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 14 km north of Lucknow. More widely known for its kebabs, Zardozi work and Dasheri mangoes, Kakori is also the centre of once flourishing Urdu poetry, literature and the Qadiriya Qalandari Sufi Order. This city came into light of the world history after 9 August 1925 when some Indian revolutionaries forcefully snatched the government's treasury from a train. The incident is called as Kakori train robbery or the Kakori conspiracy case of British period. DESIGN PROBLEM The Design problem given to us was to design a Sufi Cultural Center next to the Historical Site of Kakori where Annual fares of ‘Urs’ take place yearly and large number of people gather during that time and all over the year also to offer prayers to the Dargas of the Sufi Saints which is situated here.
