Guests enjoyed fine wine from several different vendors, with a signature glass, from the Taste of Covington’s Festa del Vino Wine Tasting.

What sets you apart from other Chefs? The personal relationships that I am able to develop with my members.

What do you love most about the restaurant industry? It gives you the opportunity to excel in your trade. Once you find your niche, the sky is the limit.

Do you have a favorite entree/dish? All the dishes in my 48 years of creating and cooking, they are all equal to me. What is one ingredient you can't live without and why? Cayenne pepper, it’s the basis in my recipes. What is your favorite meal to prepare at home? Whatever my wife wants!!! I am big on grilling outside, especially beef tenderloin, sugar snap peas and roasted Yukon gold potatoes.

What do you love most about the local restaurant industry? It has become so wonderfully diverse that it provides everyone who has passion for this industry a chance to succeed in their goals.

What was your 1st restaurant gig? Chez Pastor Restaurant in Lafayette Louisiana. Started as Kitchen Manager and advanced to Chef.

Are there any new changes at the Club you are most excited about? Our multi-million dollar golf course renovation and our ever increasing Food and Beverage business.
