Following up on its very first outdoor collection, Open-Air, Vipp introduces the next series of outdoor furniture, brought together in a single collection dubbed Lagrasse.
Intended for smaller outdoor spaces or as versatile garden nomads, the Lagrasse collection offers sociable seating settings, regardless of the size of the outdoor area. The name ‘Lagrasse’ derives from a Vipp guesthouse project to be revealed in Spring 2025.
The Lagrasse seating pieces comprise a dining chair, a lounge chair and a two-seater, each featuring a simple powder-coated aluminium frame with a round backrest that extends to form the armrests. A woven cord wrapped around the backrest and armrests reflects the airy expression that underpins the design ethos of the collection.
For added comfort, each seating piece can be paired with a set of comfortable cushions upholstered in a durable woven outdoor textile, available as an additional purchase.
The Lagrasse chairs and sofa are stackable, accommodating up to four chairs or sofas.
The Lagrasse chairs are welded using high precision welding robots to ensure a strong and long-lasting welds on every chair.

Dune, sand textile
The Dune textile is an outdoor-friendly fabric designed with water and UV resistance. Woven in a vibrant sand color, it features a textured surface that adds character and sophistication. Designed for durability, Dune is ideal for outdoor settings, offering resilience against the elements while maintaining a soft, natural look.
The weaving string is made from a synthetic weave surrounding a sturdy core to ensure a long lifetime of the product.

The Vipp Lagrasse outdoor collection is crafted from powder-coated aluminium, renowned for its durability when well maintained. Follow the instructions and treat the outdoor collection with proper care to preserve its lasting appeal and appearance for years to come.
If cleaning is required, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner to remove any debris from the textile. Avoid hard floor brushes when vacuuming. Keep sharp objects away, and push loose threads back with a blunt object instead of cutting. Clean regularly with lukewarm water (max 40°C) and mild cleaning agent on a terry cloth, testing on a hidden spot first. The foam should never be removed from the upholstery, and the upholstery is not machine washable.
In certain situations, if the upholstery has not been well cared for and protected, algae and other foreign organic matter can develop on the surface as it is the case with any furniture left outdoors. While the fabric itself does not promote the growth of algea, it can easily develop if organic materials such as food or plant matter are left on the fabric surface for an extended period of time. In very severe cases professional cleaning is recommended.
We recommend testing any professional cleaning detergent on a hidden area before cleaning the entire surface. When cleaning, it is best to treat the entire piece of funiture to prevent any concentrated spots, water rings, or colour difference. Always thoroughly rinse the fabric and cushions with clean water before using them again and allow them to air dry completely. We do not recommend removing the fabric cover from the inner foam. The cushions are not suitable for machine washing.
Cushions are made with a waterproof inner coating of the fabric to keep the cushions dry on the inside. In case water enter the cushion and the foam becomes wet, we recommend opening the zipper to allow maximum airflow for a faster drying time.

Keep powder-coated surfaces clear of debris like bird droppings, mud, and leaves to prevent damage. Clean with warm water and mild detergent using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. Finish by wiping dry with a dry cloth.
