COLLECTION
Imagine Vipp’s coveted furniture iterated for the great outdoors, where material mastery and ingenious engineering meet flora, fauna, and open skies. The Vipp Open-Air collection owe its name to the functional intent of outdoor use, while equally referencing the airiness and fluidity that underpin the design ethos – light expressions of organically shaped solid materials.
Immediately identifiable shapes and details recognized from Vipp’s indoor furniture are echoed in the outdoor collection consisting of a a two-sized dining table, a café table, a dining chair, a duo of sofas and lounge tables and a lounge chair. The Open-Air series follows a design language attuned to Vipp brand’s heritage and predilection for molded metal but with novel material additions like polyrattan, teak, and curated outdoor-friendly textiles.
The Vipp711 Open-Air chair is modelled after the very first Vipp chair. A solid grey-coated aluminium frame with rounded edges features polyrattan-covered armrests and a padded backrest.
Like its original counterpart, the outdoor version carries the same airy expression of spindly legs and armrests divided by a comfortable cushion in waterproof and UVresistant textile.
Modelled after its indoor counterpart, the lounge chair iterated for the outdoors is available in a grey coating matching the two separate, removable, and washable cushions making up the backrest and the seat.
The upholstery specially made for outdoor use is made in a water and UV-resistant textile. A vibrant two-tone effect characterises the textured surface and grants the collection a tactile sophistication.
The comfort of the living room is brought to the terrace with Vipp’s outdoor sofa. The 3-seater sofa is made with quick dry cushions and a specially curated outdoor fabric to ensure durability in all outdoor conditions. A specially designed system of straps is fitted under the seat cushions to enhance comfort. Straps are visible to echo the rhythmic pattern of the back and armrest. The backrest
cushions and bolster pillow are made with a mix of fiber and foam with quick dry capabilities. Besides the 3-seater, the Open-Air sofa is also available with both left- and right-oriented open ends, each featuring an integrated side table made from teak lamellas. Made in aluminium, with additional corrossion resistance, the sofa frame is able to resist outdoor conditions by preventing rust and miscolouring.
Vipp714 Open-Air coffee table Ø60 – The smallest of the two coffee tables combines spindly legs with a solid ceramic top. Consisting of a three-legged aluminium frame with a 12 mm ceramic tabletop in Ø60 cm, the coffee table offers a durable and monochrome look for the lounge area. It can be combined with the Vipp716 Open-Air coffee table Ø90.
Vipp716 Open-Air coffee table Ø90 – Slim teak lamellas placed in a graphic pattern make up the tabletop covering the three-legged aluminium frame of the larger coffee table in the Vipp Open-Air collection. It can either stand alone or accommodate a larger outdoor lounge setting with a complete table composition in complementing materials.
Mirroring the tabletop design of the largest Open-Air coffee table, slim teak lamellas are repeated in the Open-Air café table. Resting atop a four-legged base made of powder-coated
aluminium, both materials are selected for their durability and resistance to outdoor conditions. Adjustable levelling gliders ensure stability on uneven terrain.
Reimagined for the outdoors, the Vipp tray table is now available in a warm grey colour. Featuring durable aluminium and silicone details, including protective silicone edges on the tabletop and feet, the Vipp Open-Air tray table is perfect for
coffee on the terrace. A non-skid, dishwasher-safe silicone mat adds a functional touch, while foldable legs allow for easy storage.
The Vipp718 and Vipp719 Open-Air tables are one table available in two sizes to suit different outdoor spaces. Both tables feature an aluminium frame supporting a 12 mm ceramic tabletop and conical teak wood legs.
The Vipp718 measures 1.57 meters in length, while the larger Vipp719 spans 2.5 meters. Each table is equipped with small adjustable feet beneath the legs, allowing you to adjust the height depending on the surface for added stability.

COLLECTION
Following up on its very first outdoor collection, Open-Air, Vipp introduces its next series of outdoor furniture, brought together in a single collection dubbed Lagrasse. The name ‘Lagrasse’ derives from a Vipp guesthouse project set to open in late Spring 2025.
Intended for smaller outdoor spaces or as versatile garden nomads, the Lagrasse collection offers sociable seating settings, regardless of the size of the outdoor area. The collection comprises a dining chair, a lounge chair, and a two-seater, all crafted with a powder-coated aluminium frame. A curved backrest extends to form the armrests, wrapped in woven cord to enhance the collection’s light expression.
Designed for versatility in compact outdoor spaces, the Vipp710 Lagrasse chair features a lightweight yet sturdy powder-coated aluminium frame. A distinctive woven cord detail wraps around the curved backrest and armrests, adding both texture and refined elegance.
The chair’s stackable design allows for easy storage, accommodating up to four chairs. For enhanced comfort, optional cushions in durable, weather-resistant textile is available.
With its reclined seat, the Vipp712 Lagrasse lounge chair offers a relaxed take on outdoor seating. The powdercoated aluminium frame, encased with woven cord detailing, is precision-welded for durability while keeping the chair lightweight and stackable for easy storage.
Cushions upholstered in Vipp’s specially developed outdoor fabric, Dune, are available. The upholstery, woven cord, and frame are thoughtfully toned to complement each other, ensuring a harmonious look.
The Vipp721 Lagrasse two-seater extends the same minimalist design concept found in the collection’s dining and lounge chairs. Perfect for relaxing or socializing in smaller outdoor spaces, this two-seater maintains the harmonious aesthetic of the series.
Add cushions for a plush, cozy seating experience. Upholstered in Vipp’s specially developed outdoor fabric, the cushions feature velcro straps - like the dining and lounge chairs - ensuring a secure attachment to the frame for a stable and comfortable seating arrangement. This two-seater is also stackable.

INDEX
The Vipp Open-Air covers are made to store and protect the Vipp Open-Air outdoor collection. Developed in a water repellent and UV resistant textile, the durable cover ensures that the outdoor products are stored properly and stay beautiful for many years. Use of cover will extend the lifetime of the Open-Air products and is recommended for rainy days and out-of-season periods. The covers are made-to-measure and can be handwashed or even machine washed when needed.

The Dune textile is a durable fabric designed to withstand the elements, featuring water and UV-resistance. Woven in a vibrant sand color, it features a textured surface that adds character and sophistication. Designed for durability, Dune is ideal for outdoor settings, offering resilience against the elements while maintaining a soft, natural look.

MEADOW TEXTILE
The Meadow textile is made from special outdoor materials to ensure a long lifetime. This combination of materials makes it possible to leave the products outside all summer long. Woven in a rich sand hue, it boasts a textured surface that enhances the textile’s character.

TEAK
Natural teak wood supplies a warm contrast to the Open-Air collection. The teak wood appears more silver/grey when it reacts with the weather. While this type of wood can withstand weather changes, it is also expected that the wood may bend in different directions potentially creating small cracks in the open grain. All teak wood used in Vipp products is crafted by hand and will have some variance in its expression.

POLYRATTAN
Polyrattan is a durable, man-made material commonly used for outdoor products. It withstands the elements, resists wear and tear, and maintains its look over time without patinating. Designed for longevity, it offers the natural appeal of rattan with the strength of modern materials.

FRAME
The frame of the outdoor collection is made from aluminum, which resists outdoor conditions and prevents rust and discoloration over time.
It is finished with a powder-coated surface that resists fading, scratching, and peeling. This finish adds an extra layer of protection against the elements, keeping your furniture looking fresh season after season.

STRAPS
A specially designed system of straps is fitted under the seat cushions to create the nice comfort of the Open-Air sofa. This system is designed to make the straps visible and echo the rhythmic pattern of the back and armrest.

CORD
The weaving string on the Lagrasse collection is made from a synthetic weave surrounding a sturdy core to ensure a long lifetime of the product. The woven cord offers a comfortable, supportive seat while seamlessly blending style and function.

CERAMICS
Heat-pressed ceramics generates a raw and natural expression. Despite the delicate appearance of the stoneware, the six millimeter tabletop is highly durable, resistant to liquids and hard objects.

The Vipp Open-Air and Lagrasse outdoor collections are crafted from materials renowned for their durability when properly maintained. By following the care instructions, you can preserve the lasting appeal and appearance of these collections for years to come.
UPHOLSTERY: If cleaning is required, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner to remove any debris from the textile. Avoid hard floor brushes when vacuuming. Keep sharp objects away, and push loose threads back with a blunt object instead of cutting. Clean regularly with lukewarm water (max 40°C) and mild cleaning agent on a terry cloth, testing on a hidden spot first.
In certain situations, if the upholstery has not been well cared for and protected, algae and other foreign organic matter can develop on the surface as it is the case with any furniture left outdoors. While the fabric itself does not promote the growth of algea, it can easily develop if organic materials such as food or plant matter are left on the fabric surface for an extended period of time. In very severe cases professional cleaning is recommended.
We recommend testing any professional cleaning detergent on a hidden area before cleaning the entire surface. When cleaning, it is best to treat the entire piece of funiture to prevent any concentrated spots, water rings, or colour difference. Always thoroughly rinse the fabric and cushions with clean water before using them again and allow them to air dry completely.
Cushions are made with a waterproof inner coating of the fabric to keep the cushions dry on the inside.
Note for Lagrasse collection: In case water enter the cushion and the foam becomes wet, we recommend opening the zipper
to allow maximum airflow for a faster drying time. The foam should not be removed from the upholstery, and the upholstery is not machine washable.
TEAK WOOD: Over time, teak develops a patina as it weathers. Brush off dirt following the grain to prevent scratches. Dampen with water and a lint-free cloth. Clean with industrial teak cleaner, following its instructions, using a soft cloth and sponge along the grain to avoid scratches. Rinse lightly with water and let dry.
POLYRATTAN: Use a lint-free cleaning cloth or a soft brush with warm water and a mild detergent. Finish by wiping down the surface with a dry cloth.
CERAMIC TABLES: Daily care ensures long-lasting appeal and appearance. Use warm water, mild detergent, and a cloth. Use a slightly rougher sponge for solid stains.
Lime stains: Clean with mild detergent suitable for painted surfaces and a lint-free cloth. Rinse with water and dry the frame.
Grease stains: Use alcohol or glass cleaner.
Note: Be cautious with delicate items on the tabletop due to its hardness.
OUTDOOR POWDER-COATED SURFACES: Keep powder-coated surfaces clear of debris like bird droppings, mud, and leaves to prevent damage. Clean with warm water and mild detergent using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. Finish by wiping dry with a dry cloth.
