Vipp Cabinet System
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Deviating from its long history of working with metal, Vipp brings together oak, marble, and anodized aluminium in a new modular cabinet and storage system. Based on its forerunner, the Chimney cabinet, the new Vipp Cabinet system is designed to accommodate the shifting needs of modern living and workspaces. The system consists of eight types of units, each of which can be arranged in endless configurations.
Choose between open shelves for items on display or closed compartments for hidden objects, arranged in a complementary design asymmetry. Cabinet fronts in Vipp’s trademark material – extruded aluminium, recognised from the V3 kitchen and Vipp Chimney House and Shelter guesthouses – add a tactile contrast to the carved oak frame and the marble insertion on top of the cabinet.
Opt for a wall-mounted solution or a floorstanding alternative where the units rest on spindly matching anodized aluminium legs. The system’s versatile design makes it ideal for an array of storage and display needs, fitting into both private and workplace settings.
Functionality

A gentle focus
The open units can be softly illuminated by built-in LED lighting, offering a gentle focus on the items you wish to showcase.
Into the woods
The cabinets are made from oak veneer with solid oak edges.

PRODUCT CUT-TROUGH & DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Submersed marble plate in either Pietra Grey or Sky Grey.
Extruded aluminium fronts. Available in either dark anodized aluminium or natural anodized aluminium. 12 mm room dividers with solid edge.
19 mm solid edge and cabinet construction.
The deep chamfer makes the cabinets looks thinner and ads a refined detail.
PRODUCT MATERIALS & SURFACE TREATMENT
The Vipp Cabinet system is available in two colour combinations: Dark oak veneer, Pietra Grey marble, and dark anodized aluminium, or light oak veneer, Sky Grey marble, and natural anodized aluminium.
For the optional LED lighting, it will be default de livered with a EU plug type, 2700 kelvin LED band and a discreet on/off switch in the back panel.
The marble top is 20 mm thick and only available for closed units. Matte polished on the top

Maintenance
Oak veneer
Gentle, regular cleaning is recommended. Wipe down the oak veneer with a soft damp cloth, possibly with a mild detergent. Make sure to wipe off the surface after cleaning with water. Allow the water to evaporate or dry with a dry cloth. Placement of objects on a wet or damp surface can cause marks on the lacquer. These marks are not possible to fix and are not eligible for complaints. Avoid using sponges or coarse cloths as this might damage the surface. The oak veneer should be treated as any other wooden material. Do not use sandpaper or similar, as this can damage the protective layer of the surface. A patina will emerge over time.

Marble
Gentle, regular cleaning is recommended. Dust off the surface regularly and wipe down the marble with a damp cloth when needed. If necessary, add a mild, acid-free detergent. Remove the detergent with a clean damp cloth. Marble is limestone and does not tolerate any kind of acid (juice, wine, ketchup etc.) Marble is sensitive and should be treated cautiously. Always use coasters for drinking glasses and rivets for hot items to keep your table beautiful and free from marks and stains. Remove stains by immediately using a lint-free cleaning cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using dusting sprays or abrasive cleaners. In case of serious damage contact a professional polisher.
