Whale and barnacles Barnacles are animals who can’t walk. To survive and reproduce they have to eat and so they have to move somehow. Barnacles are attaching to the whales skin and are easily catching their food while the whale is swimming. They don’t disturb or cause any harm to the whale.




African elephant and baboon African elephants and baboons are good neighbours to each other. Elephants are digging the water wells and baboons are guarding the territory and start to scream if they see some predators coming.


Hermit crabs and the shells Hermit crab has a soft body, it can be harmed easily. Because of it hermit crabs need the “armor� and are looking for the other animals abandoned shells. As soon as they grow too big they are looking for the next, even bigger shell.




Shark and cleaner fish Shark is very strong, yet in order to keep healthy it needs regular cleaning. Shark can’t do it without help. Cleaner fish are following sharks wherever they go, cleaning its skin. These little fishes not only get a free and easy meal but also security from other dangerous predators.


Giraffe and Redbilled Oxpecker Despite its long and flexible neck the giraffe can’t get rid of ticks, and other annoying insects. Luckily for the giraffe, redbilled oxpeckers are there to help, the oxpecker feeds on the insects and keeps the giraffe clean while getting a free meal.




Warthogs and Mongooses To stay healthy it’s very important to keep clean. Mongooses are a great help for warthogs. The mongooses get tasty meal of ticks and fleas, while the warthogs get cleaned.


Mosquito Mosquito is a small and annoying insect. It’s typical parasite. Mosquito is feeding on other animals blood. Also mosquitos are spreading various illnesses like malaria.




Clown fish and sea anemones Sea anemones are poisonous animals. Clown fishes are living with them. They are covered with slime which is protecting them from the sea anemones stings, so it’s turned into the safe and beautiful place to live.


Llama is sheep Llamas are very good shepherds, they protect sheep and other livestock from predators like coyotes. Just like sheepdogs they are often used in the sheep farms.




Cuckoo Cuckoo is a lazy bird. It’s not building their own nests and neither is taking care of the eggs and chicks. Cuckoo is laying eggs in disguise in other birds’ nests. Tricked birds are taking care of the eggs and cuckoo chicks.


Hippos and guppies Hippos spend most of the day in their pools. Every night they come out and eat loads of grass. Once they’ve eaten their fill, they return to the water to digest their meals. And then they crap it all out. Fishes, like guppies, find hippo poop very tasty and it’s the main food they have.



Zebras and Ostriches Zebras have a great sense of smell and hearing but they have poor eye sight. While the ostrich has very good vision but not great hearing or smell. They often travel together and warn each other when danger is coming.
