Professional Development and Travel Funds
Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges
Virginia Wesleyan is one of the fifteen private colleges and universities in the Commonwealth which have been elected to membership in the VFIC. In addition to providing annual operating support for member colleges/universities, the VFIC seeks grants to fund periodic workshops in teaching technologies and other areas of support for faculty members. A VFIC endowment provides the opportunity for a Virginia Wesleyan faculty member each year to receive a Mednickresearch fellowship.
