< SYSTEM >
This project explores the relationship between solid and volid by creating a system of 1-3-3-1 between 7 levels created within the given perimeter. The system determines the height and the spacing of the squares floor area. It will alternate each floor to create overlapped spaces on plan, which will then folded to form stairs in between, while the other levels will be accessible by feet. 2016
< MODULER >
In this project, a study space is designed solely made of components of the modulers I created inspired by Robart’s library. With different dimension, materials and organization, this structure creates individual and group study spaces that circulates by stairs (base geometry of the module) that continues from the floors to upper levels, at the same time creating potential study areas above and under these stairs.

< STACKING - JENGA > “Stacking” is the main theme of my 2 iterations in this assignment. The vertical stacking with an empty space in the middle frames the view of audience. In addition, the contrast use of material (the lightweight glass and heavy stone) create an enormous “floating tower” on the top of a mountain. 2016
< STACKING - PUZZLE > The horizontal stacking of “Puzzle” gives an extending feeling to audience compare to”Jenga”. The stone structure is intended to be located in a cave attached to a mountain meeting the water, so the sound can bounce off and generate resonance. 2016

Levels of Intervention
Upon anaylsis of the Golden Mile located in Toronto, three levels of interventions were designed to address and improve both the connectivity for particular taxa inhabiting in these patches and ecological peace making for local residents. 2016

< PUBLIC SPACE AND SAFETY > In this project, 4 iterations about public space were designed to explore the safety aspect of a space in terms of lighting (illuminance level) and urban settings (overall arrangement of public space). The 50 cm by 50 cm model (1:200) was built based on darkest iteration that I created and by interperating the image, it results in 3 different multifunctional public space, for example privately-made public space, natural existing public space and a artifical public space to analysis how people feel around certain infrastruture and settings.

< PARTS > In this project, a musuem was designed made out of parts I found at a toy store. The repeatitation and overlapping structure creates unique spaces for art pieces and levels with different height. The shadow analysis gives a better understanding on how the building interacts with light and the space surrounding it. 2016
