Paper Collective Fall/Winter 2022 Here at Paper Collective, we are committed to creating a space in which our collaborative artists can express and explore their creativity. Our latest collection is an ode to this with eclectic styles, mediums and approaches to form giving that is a testament to the diversity in the backgrounds of our artists. Still life images of everyday objects and flowers, textural figures, vibrant landscapes and graphic abstracts combine to create a warm and welcoming collection. As the seasons head into the colder months, our latest collection will help bring some warmth into your back some of our favorite collaborators alongside new artists that help push our catalogue in new directions. Berenice Hernandez, Berit Mogensen Lopez, Mikael Siirilä, Amelie Hegardt and Loulou Avenue add to their growing body of work for Paper Collective.

NEW ARTISTS
Studiopepe is a design agency founded in Milan in 2006, by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto. Studiopepe’s focus is on design and research through the use of a multidisciplinary approach: this includes architecture and interior design (retail, hotels, private commissions), product design and creative direction. The language they use for their designs is stratified and eclectic, uniting poetic vision and rigorous design. Art, installations, study of formal archetypes, experiments with materials and the dialogue between opposites are some of the themes developed by the Studio.
NEW ARTISTS HIGHLIGHT: STUDIOPEPE
Cecilia Carlstedt has been working as a full-time illustrator since graduating from the London College of Communication in 2003. Having spent several years in London and New York, she is now based in her hometown of Stockholm, whilst retaining an international outlook towards her studio and clients. Her clients include brands and magazines such as - Vogue Nippon, Haper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Emporio Armani Magazine, Cabana Magazine, The New Yorker, Off White, Anya Hindmarch, Chloè, Smythson, Nina Ricci, De Beers, Jimmy Choo, Furla etc.
NEW ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: Cecilia Carlstedt
Clara von Zweigbergk, born in Stockholm, graduated from Beckmans School of Design, Stockholm, and continued studies at Art Centre College of Design, Pasadena USA. After five years as a founder and partner in Rivieran – a Stockholm based multi disciplinary design studio, followed by four years as a senior graphic designer at Lissoni Associati in Milan, she opened her studio in Stockholm, pursuing a great interest in paper, colour, typography and form. Her projects range from visual identities, photo art direction and a growing series of products for brands including HAY, Nike, Louis Poulsen, TID Watches, Moustache and more.
NEW ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: Clara Von Zweigbergk
NEW ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: Julita Elbe
Designer and artist Julita Elbe lives and works in Münster in NorthWest Germany. Having studied design in Warsaw, and then working as a freelance designer for many years, her focus shifted to an artistic practice based around the combination of digital and hands-on techniques. Inspired by the organic forms, lines and patterns found within nature and architecture, her work is grounded in unobtrusive colours and structures that create warm and soothing compositions. Texture and colour are added to her work through experiments with tissue and handmade cotton paper, mixed with digital components to create bold yet soft compositions.
Magdalena Pankiewicz is a Warsaw based artist and illustrator. During her studies in painting, she became fascinated with illustration. In her commercial work she focuses on portrait and figurative drawing, with an additional feminine and fashion twist but loves to experiment with other motifs including landscape and still life. Magdalena’s style combines strong, raw and unperfected lines, with smooth watercolours and a unique eye for colours. Added together, her work is surprisingly fresh with an original oeuvre.

NEW ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: Die Doing
Die Doing is an art and design studio based out of Stuttgart, Germany. Having studied architecture and design, the studio runs alongside the artists more commercial graphic design projects, providing a platform to explore a grainy world of tones and textures. Gradient forms break up on closer inspection, coming to life in larger formats and through the artists use of vibrant colours. The resulting artworks are a mixture of the rational and the emotive.
Hailing from a small island off the southern Swedish city of Gotenburg, artist and designer Jenny Wallhult has been based in Stockholm for the past thirteen years. Working within graphic design having earlier studied fine arts, her growing artistic practice provides a platform for her to explore form, colour and technique within her unique expressive style. Whilst creating simple and minimal compositions, the use of watercolours creates unexpected forms and textures - embraced by Wallhult as the element within her work that provides depth and character.

NEW ARTIST HIGHLIGHT: Of Atoms & Lines
A freelance artist Of Atoms & Lines, living and working in the historic center of Graz, Austria. With a background in architecture and design, Jelena works across a number of media and techniques including painting, drawing and sculpture. Inspired by physical and mathematical concepts, her work is characterised by a combination of theoretical and visual research that reflects a practice between drawing from observation and conceptual imagination. The abstract and minimal aesthetic of her pieces develops through an explorative process of blending and simplifying conceptual elements. Jelena viewsart as a research tool in order to explore worlds that otherwise remain unseen within the limits of our sensory perception.
