Helping people prepare for the changes that will be needed to build a sustainable and resilient society.
Our repair cafes invite people to bring their broken small electrical items in to get repaired.
Fundraising tips with rules and regulations Ways to promote your fundraiser Social Media: Use social media platforms to promote your fundraiser. You can also contact Vision 21 who will be happy to promote on our social media platforms. Personal Asks: Make a list of people you think might be able to sponsor you and send them a personal message via email, text, social media or give them a call. Press release: Put together a press release for the local newspaper or radio station. Start with why you are choosing to support Vision 21 and what you are doing to fundraise. Work: Send around an email at work or talk to your managers about spreading the word of your fundraiser. Email campaign: Contact Vision 21 and we can put it into our monthly newsletter.
Rules and regulations to consider: You will need to get a permit from the council in order to do a bucket collection in a public place You may need a licence if you plan to hold a raffle or lottery A sponsored walk, or similar activity, may require public liability insurance Food hygiene needs to be considered when handling food Gathering of data needs to follow the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
