Convention Services We know planning and hosting a convention is a big job. In order to assist meeting planners, the Anderson Convention & Visitors Bureau is delighted to offer the following complimentary services: • Contacting our hotels on your behalf to ascertain room rates, and set-up room blocks. • Photos and editorial copy for convention registration and program booklets. • Printed name badges-give us your computer-generated attendance list and we’ll print your name badges. • Volunteer registration assistance during your peak registration times. • Assistance planning spouse tours and off-site convention events. • Anderson Visitor Guides for your convention registration packet. • Referrals to companies in our area providing services you may need. • Assistance in generating news media coverage of your event. • Assistance in writing news releases on your event. • Arranging for community leaders (mayor, county administrator, etc.) to welcome your group to the Anderson area. • Anything else? Civic Center of Anderson Facility of the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center
3027 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard 864.260.4800 864.260.4847 fax www.AndersonEvents.com ASEC@andersoncountysc.org ARENA: A 28,800 square foot concert floor area that can host trade shows, concerts, basketball, conventions, large banquets and meetings, and other special events. Theater style, the Arena can seat on the floor approximately 3,200 patrons. Elevated riser seating also available. BALLROOMS: The 7,700 square foot ballroom area is carpeted, and can be sub-divided into up to four different rooms using moveable walls. The Ballroom area is used for banquets and meeting space. The total Ballroom area can seat 400-500 for banquets and approximately 700 theater-style. The area can accommodate 200-250 classroom style. MEETING ROOMS: The Civic Center offers three smaller conference spaces, including two meeting rooms and a Board Room. Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 can seat up to 40 theatre style and 30 classroom style. The Board Room seats 12 around a conference table and seats 26 theatre style.

Height: from floor to bottom of truss: 32’8”; Addition 8 feet to peak of roof. Floor: Concrete. Basketball floor is portable. Load in Doors: two (2) roll up located in back corner of main exhibit area. Doors are 20’ wide X 25’ high. Two loading docks located off service hallway. Ceilings hang points: Trusses run from side to side and located every 20’ from back to front. Hang points are located every 20’ from back to front and every 10’ from side to side. Each hang point can carry 2,500 lbs. Total load to be evenly spaced. Electrical Power: 3-110 volt 20 amp circuits/1-208 volt 3 phase 30amp located in floor every 40’ back to front and every 20’ side to side. Stage Electrical Power: Located on back wall dead center. 1-600 amp 3-phase clam locks panel, 1-200 amp 3-phase clam lock panel, and 1-100-amp 3-phase panel box. Stage Size: Stageright Staging- 4-6’ high. Total stage size is 60’wide X 40’ deep. Two (2) sets of steps.

Crystal Ballroom seats 500 theater-style, 400 banquet-style and 350 classroomstyle. The Crystal Ballroom can also be divided into three rooms: Jade Ballroom (1,626 sq. ft.) seats 120 theater, 80 banquet and 60 classroom. Garnet Ballroom (1,812 sq. ft.) seats 140 theater, 100 banquet and 80 classroom. Onyx Ballroom (2,175 sq. ft.) seats 200 theater, 140 banquet and 110 classroom. Hotel: The hotel has three meeting rooms and two board rooms. The Crescent Room seats 60 theater, 50 banquet and 30 classroom. The Jasmine and Sandpiper rooms each seat 50 theatre, 40 banquet and 24 classroom. The Heritage and Pendleton board rooms seat 12 around a conference table.

The Rainey Fine Arts Center has the 1,056 seat Henderson Auditorium, the 225 seat Daniel Recital Hall and the 110 seat Belk Theatre. The Merritt Administration building has a 310 seat theatre and the 170 seat Martin Dining Hall. The new Thrift Library has the state-of-the-art 110 seat Chapman MultiMedia Room with tiered seating, plus several other meeting rooms.
