BRISTOL VENUES
City, coast or countryside, the Bristol area offers a wealth of residential venues ranging from intimate hotels to major conference centres with up to 300 bedrooms. Delegates can enjoy a home-from-home experience in a range of modern or period properties, some with leisure and dining facilities, spas, waterfront locations, golf courses or stunning views – that extra something to make delegates feel special. As well as corporate conference and events venues, museums and attractions offer unique and unusual settings for meetings, drinks receptions and dinners – some offering guests an exclusive, after-hours experience. The city’s selection of non-residential venues, include stunning heritage buildings (with a story to tell), dedicated event spaces and creative centres where the latest ideas are being formed. The Meet Bristol & Bath team are passionate about the events industry and the destinations they represent. They offer impartial and qualified advice to help you plan your event and provide free to use services including venue finding, bid support and the set-up of a bespoke accommodation booking system.

Inner city travel is easy with Bristol’s rich transport links, comprising buses, trains, Park and Ride and a floating harbour ferry. Taxi services are very reliable, and as the first cycling capital in the UK there are many cycle paths and places to hire bikes. You can even hop on one of Bristol’s hire scooters.

Only 13 miles apart, Bristol and Bath are perfect city-hopping destinations and act as a gateway to other major parts of the UK. South Wales and its capital Cardiff are just under an hour to the west, to the north are the quintessentially English Cotswolds. Just to the south are the historic destinations of Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar on the edge of the Mendip hills. To the east is Wiltshire and towns such as Swindon and Bradford-on-Avon.
