The #VisitDecaturAL Executive Program is crafted to facilitate a seamless transition for executives and industry leaders interested in learning more about Decatur, Alabama, and the surrounding region. Our program focuses on strategically fostering meaningful relationships with top-level leadership within the community
WHO IS IT FOR
The Decatur Morgan County Executive Program is designed for industry executives and community leaders seeking to expand their knowledge about Decatur and Morgan County, including insights into tourism and offerings from our partners. We encourage a quarterly attendance of 20-50 people
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Decatur Morgan County Executive Program is offered quarterly, providing a BRIEF one-hour (ish) session for industry and community leaders to meet key influencers. Each session highlights the various programs available in Decatur and Morgan County, offering valuable networking opportunities and connections with fellow professionals.

We will meet on the first Thursday of each QUARTER at 8:00 AM for one hour & fifteen minutes
WHERE
Decatur Morgan County Tourism will host the program in the UPSTAIRS Corporate Meeting Space

Decatur is experiencing rapid growth, with new industries, business expansions, and a steady influx of new residents joining the community.
By educating our residents and welcoming newcomers, we can help everyone feel connected and involved in our wonderful community. This program will ensure that people know about the opportunities and resources available, making Decatur an even better place to live and work

Tour of Decatur
Upon completion of the program Decatur Morgan County Tourism will offer a personalized Familiarization tour (FAM Tour) that is tailored to meet the interests and needs of industry executives new to the area. DMCT will create an itinerary based on the need of the group. Tours will be annually each year and include paticipants from that years ’ program.
The customized itinerary may include:
Meetings with selected community leaders
Visits to iconic locations & recreation options
Neighborhoods of interest
Upon finishing the Executive Program, each participant will receive:
- Certificate of Completion
- Letter from the State Senator - Exclusive Executive Program T-Shirt - Local FAM Tour Experience
