PARK POINT The world’s longest freshwater sandbar, Park Point Beach, is a popular summer destination for swimming and recreation. In addition to a 7-mile span of beach, the park also offers a large recreational field, sand volleyball courts, a playground and pavilions with grills. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season.
