Leiper’s Fork Distillery

There is no better place to learn about whiskey and have a one-of-a-kind experience than at Leiper’s Fork Distillery. Having them guide you through not only the history of whiskey in Williamson County but also through the process of whiskey being made on their land, will leave you with memories of a lifetime.

Along with the story of the 200-year-old cabin that now houses their tasting room (ask about the carved signature in the bathroom), you’ll see firsthand how the ideas that began at age 16 with owner and Master Distiller Lee Kennedy have turned into a philosophy of loving their product from “grain to glass.” This is not a distillery where a product is simply just made; it is a small-batch, artisan distillery where love and hard work produce premium bottled in bond whiskey.

The corn for every bottle is grown on the owner’s nearby farm. The charcoal for filtering through the famed “Lincoln County Process” for Tennessee Whiskey is made onsite. The barrelling and bottling happen in the same room, and Kennedy hand signs every bottle.

A tasting is where the best stories happen, so be sure to include a tasting with your tour of Leiper’s Fork Distillery. Your guide will share with you the fine spirits you just saw being made, and also teach you the proper way to sip and experience your whiskey.

When the weather warms up, the experience gets even better with live music and a craft cocktail bar on

the distillery’s charming front porch. Enjoy seasonal creations such as a Peach Mule, as well as classics like an Old-Fashioned. They even have the occasional food truck every now and then!

No matter what time of year you visit, when you leave Leiper’s Fork Distillery, you’ll have an experience you won’t forget. Whether you’re a history buff or a whiskey enthusiast, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, and you’ll leave knowing the true meaning of their manifesto ‘Grain to Glass. Heart & Soul’.
