Franklin Theatre, often referred to as the crown jewel of Main Street. The theater’s marquee first illuminated Main Street in the summer of 1937, opening as a movie theater dubbed “the

home of first kisses.” Since then, the building has been restored and renovated, now serving as a world-class performing art and live music venue.
