Over 120 pubs and bars across the Isle of Wight
A place to come together with family and friends, pubs are the centre of communities the country over, and the Island boasts more than its fair share. There are olde worlde pubs with beams and roaring log fires, inns in superb coastal locations providing a breath of sea air and pubs with outdoor play areas and gardens. There are also plenty of stylish and contemporary bars on the Island providing a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you are in search of real ales or fine wines, looking for hearty traditional pub grub or more contemporary cuisine, the Isle of Wight has a venue to suit your taste. Blessed with some of the most beautiful locations on the south coast, you can enjoy a cold glass of wine in the summer overlooking the sea or cosy up by a fire with a winter warmer in a snug bar. The pubs and bars are kept well-stocked by the local breweries, vineyards and a distillery that provide some excellent quality tipples. Many pubs source their produce locally- try fresh seafood, farm reared meats and fruit and veg grown in our fertile soils.
