Make history all over again by holding your event at the home of the first-ever World Heavyweight Prize Fight in the US. This historic Prize Fight was held in Jefferson Parish on May 10, 1870. Since then, we have hosted state and collegiate boxing along with professional MMA events in our 2,000-seat Alario Center, pages 38-41, and 4,600-seat Pontchartrain Convention & Civic Center, pages 42-45.

Parc de Familles features the first disc golf course created in a hardwood cypress swamp. It is one of a kind, with throwing lanes lined by beautiful large cypress trees. Located in Lafitte, Louisiana, you will enjoy the true spirit of South Louisiana’s great outdoors.

ALARIO CENTER
Located on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish, the Alario Center features over 50,000 square feet of multipurpose space. This convention center is surrounded by a lush landscape and is adjoined by Segnette Field and Bayou Segnette State Park. This facility and festival grounds combine to be the premier sports and entertainment complex in the Greater New Orleans area.

The Main Arena has fixed arena seating for 2,000 patrons. The NBA-sized hardwood floor (94’ x 50’) makes this hall the ideal venue for basketball and volleyball events. Additional floor seating can be added for events such as concerts, boxing, or cheerleading. The Alario Center has hosted numerous national and international sporting events, including the 2003 Mountain Dew College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Basketball Championships (televised nationally on ESPN), the 2000 USA Weightlifting Olympic Trials (televised nationally on NBC), and the US Women’s Olympic Volleyball Team exhibition match vs. Japan. The Alario Center annually hosts the Allstate Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic, the Allstate Super 60, and numerous AAU basketball events, as well as a variety of events like the NOLA National Invitational gymnastics meet and grappling events.

KARTING FACILITY
This 40-acre karting facility is the largest karting track in North America. It includes 30 acres of total track area with seven acres equipped with lighting. Three circuits provide 80+ configurations.
THE NORTH TRACK
A 2.75-mile world-class race track that consists of 16 turns with a 5,200 foot straightaway. Designed with challenge and safety in mind, this track offers both the club-level and professional driver an amazing experience. NOLA Motorsports offers the public the ability to use our track for recreational or competitive use.
SKID PAD
With 305,000 square feet of premium soft-grade asphalt, there are few skid pads of this size and quality in the world. This extremely smooth surface is home to some of the deep south’s biggest drifting and autocross communities like SCCA, Drift South, and Formula Drift. With 133 parking spaces and 30,000 square feet of garage space facing the pad, this track brings events, demos, and product launches to the next level.

Jefferson Parish is home to over 50 parish parks, two state parks, and the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve. Spanning over 640 miles, Jefferson Parish provides a variety of indoor, outdoor, and watersport activities. Jefferson Parish parks have hosted local, regional, and national events, including the 2021 Nationals - Gulf Coast Quidditch and National Collegiate Rugby’s May Madness.
Our two state parks include Bayou Segnette State Park in Westwego and Grand Isle State Park in Grand Isle. Bayou Segnette State Park offers the best of everything.
