Kingston Town Centre will have a jam packed family friendly festival on Prudential RideLondon event day, Sunday 31 July 2016.
Head to the Ancient Market Place for the best view of the cyclists on their inbound route to London. Watch the fun on the big screen, be wowed by the BMX stunt show - featuring some of the best BMX riders in the UK - or try out the Rollapaluza static race bikes and challenge your friends and family to a race and see who posts the highest score!
Join us for a full day of non-stop activities and events taking place across the town, as this world renowned cycle race powers through Kingston Town Centre.
For even more entertainment make your way to Wood Street - hop onto a Pedal Power Smoothie machine and pedal your way to 5-a-day - all the more satisfying to quench your thirst!
Get into the cycling spirit and cheer on the cyclists en route to victory at one of the many excellent viewing points through the Town Centre.
Tickle your taste buds by tucking into food and drink from one of the many food stalls; dance along as the Music DJ Truck plays your favourite songs throughout the day, be amazed as you drive up the side of a building thanks to the magic of the Continental Tyres Photo booth … all this whilst childrens’ rides and face painters keep little ones entertained.
As well as lining the route to cheer on participants, you’ll be able to pull up a deckchair and watch the action as the cyclists pass by or catch up on the big screen in the Ancient Market Place. Not only is Kingston the best place on the route to watch the excitement …not once, but twice – it is also a great place to spend the day – with a full programme of events and activities – not forgetting Kingston’s variety of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and the bustling Ancient Market.

Travel Information
By Bicycle There is ample cycle parking in the Town Centre – please see map for details. Interested in cycling in and around Kingston? The site is full of hints and tips for all cyclists, including cycle training, rides and routes, clubs, as well as advice on where to buy or hire a bike, plus local cycling news updates.
From the South and East Car parks south of Eden Street will be accessible from the South. The Bittoms Car Park is accessible by The Bittoms. Brook Street, Ashdown Road and Fairfield NCP are accessible via Wheatfield Way – see map for details. By Train Kingston rail station is only 25 minutes from London Waterloo and will be the quickest and easiest route into Kingston.
Car Parks All car parks in Kingston Town Centre will be open as usual – except Cattle Market – although access routes may change due to road closures.

Route Timings Sunday 31 July Cyclists in both the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 46 and Classic events will pass through Kingston on the outbound route and through Kingston, via the Ancient Market Place, on the return journey as they dig deep and head towards the finish.
