1. Story Telling and Crafts Activities

A craft activity related to St. George’s Bay took place in collaboration with a private childcare centre. Children enjoy puppet making and this activity focused on creating something which children can play with but at the same time can take home as a keepsake. The session targeted participants aged 2-3 years old, and it started off by practicing sand play. Later, children were given crayons to colour templates on pre-used paper and eventually they transformed the paper into puppets of marine species. The participants used the handmade puppets to tell different stories related to the marine life.
