As explained in the brief, only for those professions where a ‘warrant/license (as applicable) as per current legisla on’ to exercise the profession is required need to be presented for the par cular key expert/team member. This does not apply for those professions whereby the legal framework of a warrant/license is not in place.
Q2 – Do team members have to have a Masters Degree os is an MQF Level 7 equivalent just as valid? ALL members of the team need to have an MQF Level 7 quali ca on.
Q3 – Does the 5 years professional experience mean 5 years’ experience a er the quali ca on of a Masters has been awarded? The ve years professional experience is calculated from the date of achieving the warrant/ license where applicable. Where no warrant/license exists, this applies from the date of achieving the MQF Level 7 quali ca on.
Q4 – Are the Design Contests Organizers able to provide details of land in Marsaskala that is owned by government of the local council/. If not, would the Contest Organisers indicate who at provide this data? The proposal needs to be within the con nes of the site as iden included in the provided drawing.

Q5 – Can the Contest Organizer obtain and distribute data regarding tra c ows through the streets within the locality? If not, would the Organizers let us know who may provide the data?
Q6 – 8.6.1 sub clause 4 states that a maximum of ten boards/panels will be displayed on ve sperate boards (0.9M X 2.4M). It then states that the two panels may be separate from each other. Would the Context Organizers please clarify the number of panels available? The bidders can present a maximum of ten in number sheets/panels to be xed on 5 exhibi on boards with dimensions of c. 0.9m wide x 2.4m high, as explained in the design contest document.

Q7 – There are a number of sites within Marsaskala for which proposals have already been presented, or publicly announced, or for which submissions for development permission made, including the site of the former Jerma Palace Hotel, the site of the waterpolo pitch on Zonqor Point, and a new waterpolo complex along Triq is-Salini. Within the scope of the Macro Analysis, and deliverable (v)(pg 14) for key (priority) regenera on projects/areas, is it legi mate to propose alterna ves to the proposals already put forward?

Similarly to ques on 4, the compe on is more focused on the design of the bidders. We believe that the macro analysis, as part of the scope of this design contest, should be limited to take into considera on commi ed projects (with a permit) and the commitments already in place.
