€ 1 Million Budget The Malta Tourism Authority is committed to support holiday visitors to plan a longer stay in the Maltese Islands. This scheme forms part of the Malta Tourism Authority‘s recovery measures specifically targeting Leisure Tourism.

01. Introduction

This Malta Tourism Authority Scheme seeks to incentivise travellers aged 65 years and over to book a longer stay holiday in the Maltese Islands of a minimum of 15 nights. The scheme aims to reach out to the respective stakeholders to continue sustaining the MTA’s Tourism Recovery Plan by attracting such long-stay travellers and holiday visitors by giving added value to their holiday experience. 1.1. Duration of the Scheme The scheme to commence as from 18th October to 19th December 2021 1.2. Designated Authority The scheme is administered by the Malta Tourism Authority. 1.3. Budget This scheme has a budget of €1 million.

02. Terms and Conditions 2.1. Vouchers can be collected from the Malta Tourism Authority Tourist Information Offices, at Malta International Airport, Valletta, and Victoria, Gozo. MIA Opening Hours: Mondays to Sundays (including public holidays) - 10:00hrs to 21:00hrs Valletta and Victoria, Gozo Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday: 0900hrs to 1730hrs - Sunday and Public Holidays (PH): 0900hrs to 1300hrs (Tourist Information Offices are Closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday) 2.2. The vouchers will only be presented to the tourist, upon presentation of passport/identity document featuring date of birth and the return flight ticket, as proof of the length of stay in the Maltese Islands. 2.3. The support value will be redeemable from participating Restaurants, Accommodation, Retail and Services outlets accepting Government vouchers.

2.4. The support scheme will be managed directly by the Malta Tourism Authority. 2.5. The above scheme is independent from any other support provided by the Malta Tourism Authority throughout the year 2021 Malta Tourism Authority Supporting Longer Stays in the Maltese Islands |
