Terms & Conditions It is strongly suggested to contact Conventions Malta first with your proposed initiative for verification and to ensure that the initiative is eligible for support. Investment should be done in promoting the destination and your services or products. Administrative or operational enhancements will not be supported. -

FAMILIARISATION VISITS & SITE INSPECTIONS Category

Flights

Expenses to be covered by DMC or Hotel Partner.

Receipt/Proof of Payment + Hotel Reservation & Rooming List

Excluding Eco-Tax Contribution, Room Service, Tips/Gratuities and other personal expenses. Hotel has to be licensed by MTA. Expenses to be covered by DMC or Hotel Partner.

MTA will provide welcome pack items to be assembled by DMC or Hotel Partner.

To advise MTA at least 3 weeks prior to event.

Accommodation

Four and Five-Star Hotels offering conference facilities only.

Items designed or purchased specifically for either the Fam Trip or Site Inspection.

Promotional Material

Creation of Brochures, Maps, Gifts & Gift Packs, Business Cards including printing of material.

Each programme will be evaluated individually. The following criteria will apply: 1. The programme needs to be related to Meetings, Conferences, Incentives and Exhibitions. 2. We are going to part sponsor 50:50 basis as in previous years. 3. This scheme is not applicable for Fam Trips or Site Inspections organised jointly with Conventions Malta or MTA Destination representational offices. Other forms of support are offered in such cases. 4. Should a DMC & Hotel request funding for the same Fam Trip or Site Inspection at registration stage, support would be shared between the two partners on a 50:50 basis. You will be notified that we have received a double registration so that a decision can be reached as to share the support or drop the registration and register for another initiative. 5. DMC Representation is eligible, not more than 1 pax. 6. The below info needs to be submitted at least 14 days prior to the fam trip or site inspection: a. Fam Trip Dates b. Number of guests c. Allocations: • If the client paid for flights and/or accommodation, only 50% of the allocation per person will be granted to the trade partner as a contribution towards the program. • If trade partner paid for flights and/or accommodation and program, the full allocation per person will be granted.
