➞ Some shopping centers aren’t just for shopping these days. They’re one-stop places where you can shop, dine, relax, and be entertained for hours on end. Here are just a few of the area’s shoppers’ paradises.

The Sherman Phoenix Marketplace is a testament to what’s possible when communities work together for the greater good. The collective of Black-owned businesses grew from the ashes of a building that burned during violent unrest in 2016. Explore some two dozen unique vendors and shop for clothes at Queen’s Closet, deserts at Confectionately Yours, or even body art at Milwaukee Tattoo Society. Dine at Junior’s Smoked BBQ and Veggie Soul, snack on Lush Popcorn, grab a coffee at Rise & Grind Café, or treat yourself to a rest at 9th Cloud Massage Therapy. And on a Blackout Saturday, even more pop-up vendors showcase their goods and services.

Bayshore is built around a large square greenspace called The Yard that hosts concerts, events, and sports viewing parties in front of a massive video display. Top retailers here include Apple, Nike, Lane Bryant. and Foot Locker. And stop by Kilwin's for a sweet treat of chocolate, fudge or ice cream.

The Mayfair Collection in Wauwatosa hosts some of retail’s biggest names, including Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Men’s Warehouse, and J. Crew Factory. Good City Brewing is a great spot to socialize, either indoors or on its expansive patio space – while enjoying some of Milwaukee’s tastiest craft beer. You’ll also find Pizza Man, one of Milwaukee’s best-loved spots to share a gourmet pie.

The Corners of Brookfield opened in 2017 and was inspired by the idea a small-town feel in a big-city environment. See the latest styles available at Von Maur, L.L. Bean, Lululemon Athletica, and Brooks Brothers. Chow down at BelAir Cantina and Grimaldi’s Coal BrickOven Pizzeria, or satisfy your sweet tooth at Indulgence Chocolatiers and Goddess & The Baker.
