Milwaukee Public Museum
Learn about many of the cultures found throughout Milwaukee inside the museum. Start at A Tribute to Survival, an exhibit that pays homage to the city’s Native American roots including a pow-wow recreation with traditionally clothed mannequins. Take a trip back in time to see the homes of several European immigrants in The European Village. Then, hop aboard the streetcar to meet Milwaukee’s first Black family, the Watsons, inside Streets of Old Milwaukee

Glorioso’s Italian Market Shop at a Milwaukee staple and one of the last remaining authentic Italian markets in the city. Opened since Valentine's Day 1946, fall in love with their sandwiches and so much more from their traditional Italian deli.

Wisconsin Black Historical Society and Museum
Explore the museum's exhibits yourself or take an in-depth tour at the museum to learn about the experiences of Wisconsin's Black residents from slavery to today. Exhibits like Work'n In The Promised Land share the inequalities faced by Black residents throughout the years, but also underscore the many contributions made by the Black community.

Delve into the history of Jewish people in the Greater Milwaukee area. Offering amazing tours, a variety of rotating exhibits, and special programming, the museum shares the stories of immigration, survival, and community of the area's Jewish residents.

Pabst Mansion
Brewing in Milwaukee has rich, historic roots dating back to the city's early German residents. This strong German culture and brewing tradition is reflected throughout the city. At the Pabst Mansion, step back in time while learning about beer baron Frederick Pabst at the family's historic mansion. The three-story magnificently preserved space tells the tale of the brewing titan and the family that beer built.

Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery
Once you've seen the mansion, visit the brewery that built it. Tour part of the original Pabst Brewing complex while learning about the Best family brewers and their favorite son-in-law Captain Frederick Pabst.
