Community Relations and Visitor Services MCCVB’s success relies on community-wide collaboration – not just the hospitality industry but throughout all networks that impact the destination. The past year demonstrated just how crucial Community Relations is in working through crisis. MCCVB is committed to continuing to build its partnerships throughout the community, including relationships with the Monterey County Office of Emergency Services, Monterey County Hospitality Association and area Chambers of Commerce. Visitor engagement has been a part of MCCVB’s program since its inception and will continue to be managed through the Community Relations department. Educating visitors on local businesses and attractions, as well as traveling responsibly and respecting the destination, remain top priorities.
