Building on four lifetimes worth of working, interacting and being with the Mourne Mountains the Cirefice family present Thin Places: Kin Reflections of the Mournes.

Kerri Ní Dochartaigh describes Thin Places as those in-between places where the veil between this and the Otherworld is the thinnest, in them we may feel something larger than ourselves as though held between worlds, beyond experience. For us the Mourne Mountains and surrounding area is full of these special places, the landscape steeped in mystery and liminality. Through this exhibition we capture these feelings in four distinct but interconnected reflections. This group exhibition spans four different techniques, styles and mediums but is anchored in a shared love of a place that we call home.
