Mrs. Opdal offers homecooked Norwegian food, a journey through the farm’s history, and notes from her own accordion, in warm, authentic surroundings. We have 6 different double rooms, each with its own name and melody.

At Mælen farm you can spend the night in Stabburet Madam Meyer, all year around (7 beds). It was renovated to modern standard in 2023, with an antique style. Here you sleep and eat with a view over Namsen river, in historical surroundings. You get digital storytelling about Madam Meyer who lived on the farm in the late 1700s. Enjoy the silence, book a yoga session, and eat tasty local food. Mælen farm also offer salmon fishing in Namsen and simple accommodation in Bakerstu (6 beds) from June 1st to august 31st.
