At Restaurant Dagmar the emphasis is placed on Danish and local raw materials from the marsh, the North Sea and the surrounding nature. The kitchen combines the menu with seasonal ingredients. In addition, a wine list with wines for all tastes and in all price ranges.

At the idyllic Hotel Dagmar, the decor is charming and cozy. Although the view of Ribes Cathedral has been the same for over 400 years, the hotel’s fascinating rooms allow new impressions every time. Plushing on the chairs, thick curtains and soft carpets means that only the melodies from the cathedral bell chimes break the peace as soft background music.

At the square in the heart of Esbjerg lies the old post office from 1908. Which underwent a major renovation in 2017, from post office to a food mecca. Today, the old Post Office houses 2 restaurants, named Posten and Loftet, as well as a gastro sports bar, HomeRun.

In the restaurant Posten you can enjoy the classical dishes such as burgers, fresh pasta and local Grambogaard beef or our exciting sharing menu. At HomeRun, our gastro sports bar, you can play pool, dart and board games, as well as watch TV with live sport. We also serve large cold draft beers and delicious burgers. Restaurant Loftet is our gourmet restaurant, where we serve mostly locally and organic dishes from 1 to 8 courses, with and without wine menu.
