Nordic Dining in Esbjerg Restaurant Mundheld is Esbjerg’s Nordic kitchen. The skilful men and women at Mundheld are on hand every day to serve up exciting gastronomic surprises involving astonishing craftsmanship, ingenuity and distinct Nordic nuances.

As we prioritise quality over quantity, Mundheld only has nine tables. When all our tables are booked, that’s it. We never compromise on food, wine, service or surroundings. That goes without saying. That is why it may be a good idea to book a table at Mundheld well in advance.

APARTMENTS In our kitchen the priority, is to use raw ingredients, local, seasonal and nartually of a high quality, prepared with respect for the final product, that in our restaurant will give our guests a memorable culinary experience, at a reasonable cost.

Our function room ”Cuba”, has seating for up till 30 guests. It’s light, airy and tasteful decorated. The walls here and throughout Kellers are hung with exeptionel fine and original paintings, by well known artists. Exner, Johan Rhode, Elas Nøbbe and others many of whom are members of the famous Skagen Painters. We also have AV equipment, which makes our function room an ideal venue for conferences og meetings. Right here, where the flat Ribe Marsh connects the Wadden Sea National Park with the Nordic region’s oldest city, Ribe, lies Kammerslusen with the opportunity of a unique setting for both large conferences and smaller meetings. Here you will experience your own tranquility, where in the spring and autumn months it is possible to experience the spectacular natural phenomenon, the Black Sun, right outside the door.

The nature of the Wadden Sea is the focal point of the menu card and reflects the ingredients available outside the front door. The raw materials are composed creatively and prepared with respect for traditions and with both legs on the ground. Kammerslusen offers everything from high table buffet to gala dinners. An event is put together and customized so that your guests get an experience out of the ordinary.
