NSIC Softball Tournament to be played in Sioux Falls Burnsville, Minn. –The 2014 NSIC Softball Tournament will be played in Sioux Falls, S.D. at Sherman Park. The league will partner with the Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Sioux Falls People for Youth to put on the event. Sherman Park fields A and B will play host to the double-elimination tournament, which will consist of the top ten teams in the final NSIC standings. The tournament will begin on Thursday, May 1 and run through Saturday, May 3. Tickets are available at the gates for $6 for an adult and $2 for seniors and students. An all-tournament pass is available for $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. The conference tournament will decide the conference automatic qualifier to the NCAA Central Region Tournament that will be played May 8-11, 16-17 at a site to be determined. The first 100 kids through the gates on championship Saturday will receive a free softball that can be autographed by the winning team. (See attached flyer.)
