Strawbale Winery to host 6th Annual Quilts & Vines Event The 6th annual Quilts & Vines event will take place at Strawbale Winery on August 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event, put on by Strawbale Winery and Heirloom Creations, will display over 300 quilts making it the largest outdoor quilt show in South Dakota. Enjoy wine tasting, food, and musical entertainment provided by The Crab Grass Crew. The cost is $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the gate. Advance tickets sold at Heirloom Creations, 3800 S. Western Ave., Sioux Falls, SD and Strawbale Winery, 47215 257 St., Renner, SD, and Lewis Drug Stores. The local Project Linus chapter, an organization that gives blankets to children who have been traumatized by illness or abuse, and Camp Bring it On, a camp for kids with cancer, will share portions of the ticket sales. There will be no parking at Strawbale Winery but free shuttle service will be provided from the designated parking lot located at the Renner/Crooks exit 86 off Interstate 29.
