Holiday haze. Light up Clinton Square with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Menorah Lighting in downtown Syracuse. Enjoy the classic tales of a Dickens Christmas throughout the Village of Skaneateles. Hop in the car and prepare to be wowed with Lights on the Lake at Onondaga Park .
Winter wonderland. Warm up at Winter Fair — all the fun of the great New York State Fair, but indoors at the Expo Center! Hit the slopes at Lab Mountain, Song Mountain or Four Seasons Golf & Ski Center with skiing, snowboarding or tubing fun. Show off your twirling skills at the Clinton Square Ice Rink Lace up for the Lake Effect Half Marathon
Blizzard brews. Discover breweries and hop around the county for some of the finest craft beers. Brunch with the girls at Board and Bar Charcuterie downtown, or A.W. Wander & Seneca Street Brew Pub in the suburb of Manlius. Dine with wine at the Tallman Cocktail Club

The orange goes green. St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just one day in CNY, celebrations kick off the last Sunday of February with Green Beer Sunday. Pound the pavement for Tipperary Hill’s 4-mile Shamrock Run and raise a pint at one of the many Irish pubs throughout the city on St. Pat’s Parade Day. Jammers Sports Bar, the historic Landmark Theatre , Clinton Street Pub , SKY Armory and more participate in St. Patrick’s Day Festivities. And don’t forget mint milk from one of the many local Byrne Dairy convenience stores — yum!
