This year’s fun fair is hosted by Tórshavnar Ítróttaráð. Here you can expect a great mixture of attractions such as jumping castles, teacup, carousel, trampoline, fishing ponds, toy guns, electric cars and -bulls, boats, darts, tombola and much, much more. Location: Skálatrøð (“the parking lot”)

Karavella Marionett-Theatre will be performing ‘Dansa so væl og leingi’ in Tilhaldið. The marionette play explores themes such as life and art, but also friendship, longing and about following your dreams. Suitable for children and adults. Location: Tórsgøta 21
7pm:
A play has been put together to commemorate the passing of great playwright, William Shakespeare. The theatre piece is catered toward a Faroese audience and encapsulates the spirit of Ólavsøka. Location: Sjónleikarahúsið, Niels Finsensgøta 34

The National Museum, Tjóðsavnið, exhibition about Faroese nature, history and culture. Special exhibition about Koltur. Location: Brekkutún 6 The Open Air Museum in Hoyvík, Hoyvíksgarður. Has 11 houses from early 20th century. Location: Kúrdalsvegur 18 Listagluggin will be showing works by Torbjørn Olsen, Ingálv av Reyni, Bárð Jákupsson, Zacharias Heinesen, Eyðun av Reyni and many more. Location: Dr. Jakobsensgøta 15 The annual Ólavsøku exhibition at Lions is on again with contributions from many artists. All the money goes to charity. Location: Múllers Pakkhús, Sigmundargøta 21 Art exhibition with Kára Svensson at Smiðjan í Lítluvík. Location: 15 Gríms Kambansgøta Faroe Pride is back for the 7th time in a row and to celebrate the occasion there will be music performances by Eivør, Frændur og a Norwegian LGBT-choir. The current U.S. ambassador in Denmark, Rufus Gifford, will be making an appearance at the event by delivering a speech. Location: The parade will begin at the national football stadium (Tórsvøllur) and end at the town centre (Vaglið). The aquarium society (Akvariufelagið) will be showcasing aquariums, –fish as well as selling homemade products. Location: Tinghúsvegur 18
