By Car: Floridians who want to discover this unique part of Florida can easily access the area by car. Many of the state’s major thoroughfares (I-95, I-4, I-75, and the Florida Turnpike) make this east coast beach destination a road tripper’s delight. Trips from Jacksonville, Naples, Miami, Orlando, and Ocala are all possible in under four hours. Tallahassee is an exception. The capital city is slightly more than a five-hour drive. Still, easy-peasy!
